Every Filipino citizen over the age of 15 is eligible for TESDA Scholarships, which also include Overseas Filipino Workers.
There are numerous TESDA courses from which to choose as part of the TESDA scholarship programs. These TVET courses will prepare you to be highly competent for in-demand and high-paying jobs both locally and internationally.
UAQTEA (Universal Access to Tertiary Education), PESFA (Private Education Student Financial Assistance), STEP (Special Training for Employment Program), and TWSP (Training for Work Scholarship Program) are among the TESDA scholarships currently available.
To be accepted into the aforementioned programs, you must first be able to meet the following requirements:
UNIVERSAL ACCESS TO TERTIARY EDUCATION
It includes the free competency assessment and allowance toolkits. Free education under Republic Act 10931
PRIVATE EDUCATION STUDENT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
This gives financial aid to those marginalized but deserving students
SPECIAL TRAINING FOR EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
This gives chance to Filipino citizens who wants to learn skills that they use to put up their own business
TRAINING FOR WORK SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
This answers the "job skills mismatch" and ensures the "labour force requirement" are filled up
TESDA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESSTo complete the application process, you must have a laptop/desktop/smartphone with an internet connection because you must fill out the application online. The applicant requires 5-10 minutes of your time to complete the application steps.
STEPS TO APPLY FOR TESDA SCHOLARSHIP
The online application process is broken down into three steps. Please follow the steps below:
STEP ONE
FILL-UP THE APPLICATION FORM: You must provide your full name, permanent mailing address, gender, date of birth, email address (which must be active and working), birthplace, and parents' or guardians' full names.
CLICK THE CREATE BUTTON: The "CREATE" button is located in the lower-left corner of the application form.
RECEIVE YOUR LEARNER'S ID: You will receive a confirmation email to the email address you provided, so double-check it because it contains your unique Learner's ID.
STEP TWO
SELECT THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: You choose the scholarship program that you want to pursue. Select your first, second, and third choices.
ENTER YOUR LASTNAME AND UNIQUE LEARNER'S ID: Your unique learner's ID can be found in the email confirmation they sent you. You must also include your civil status, educational attainment, employment type, and desired study location.
VERIFY YOUR PROFILE: Check to see if your profile is correctly filled out.
APPLICATION IS COMPLETE: After verifying your information, your application is complete, and all you have to do now is wait for the results.
STEP THREE
After you have completed and submitted your application, you should check your registered email for TESDA office feedback, which will include information about the dates of the training and the school where you will take them.
