SM Foundation is still accepting online applications for their College Scholarship until March 20. The application has started since January. For those who are interested, you better act fast.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who Grade 12 who are graduating from public and private schools with a general average of at least 88% or its equivalent for the Grade 12-first semester. and with a total household income of at P150, 000 annually.
The said college scholarship program only covers some parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
To apply for the scholarship, you need to apply online on their portal https://scholarship.sm-foundation.org. Sign-up and fill up the application form and you need to attached other requirements: parent's income tax return, latest Grade 12 report card, birth certificate, 2x2 picture and also the sketch of your home to the nearest SM mall.
The lucky recipients of the scholarship can choose courses from Computer Science, Computer/ Mechanical/Civil/ Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Accountancy, Elementary and Secondary Education and also Financial Management and Internal Auditing.
The SM Foundation scholars will enjoy Full tuition, monthly allowance and part-time job opportunities during Christmas break and semestral breaks. After graduation, they will also have exclusive job offers from SM group.
SM Foundation has been helping youths for two decades and as of writing, they have 3249 college scholars. Sm Foundation has also SM Technical-Vocational Scholarship which gives option to youth for quicker two-year technical/vocational courses. They also have the School Building Program- they donate school buildings and classrooms to areas in need.
