League of Legends: Wild Rift Officially Announced - Release Date and How to Download

As the rumor of the release has been the talk on both social media and gaming forums for some months now, some netizens took this as an overly ambitious transition.

But LoL Executive Producer Michael Chow clarified that the new version called LoL: Wild Rift will not be "a port of LoL on PC," but a "new game built from scratch to ensure it is a polished, legitimate LoL experience that's worth players' time."And after taking a look at the official release how the gameplay would look, needless to say — we’re impressed. The game is set to release in 2020, region by region with a full global rollout on mobile planned before the end of the year. The console edition will come some time after that.

You may also go to Google Play Store and pre-register to get notified when the game (or any impending beta test) becomes available in your region.

Before Wild Rift, Shanghai Moonton Technology's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang — and Tencent's (which also owns Riot Games) Arena of Valor, to some extent — has kept gamers, including Filipinos, glued to their phones.
